AIMS

Our school lays the foundation upon which all future learning will develop therefore Braywood’s aim is to give the best education possible for each child incorporating the requirements of the National Curriculum and Religious Education:

  • by providing a rich, broad and balanced curriculum, giving the children knowledge and practice in the basic skills and where all achievement is celebrated;
  • by providing a stimulating and creative learning environment which motivates and inspires confident, independent learners who value success;
  • by fostering a sense of enjoyment of learning which will equip each individual with the necessary values to promote life long learning
  • by promoting an inclusive, secure learning community which encouraged each child to pursue a happy and healthy lifestyle;
  • by cultivating a caring, respectful and Christian attitude towards all members of the ‘Braywood family’ and the wider community
  • by encouraging interest, enjoyment and respect for their immediate environment and the world around them for a sustainable future.

At Braywood we attach great importance to providing a nurturing, supportive community in which parents, staff and governors can work together in the education of our children.
