Curriculum

As parents you want the best education possible for your child and at Braywood we aim to provide it. These early stages of education are vitally important. Our curriculum is well-balanced. Although based upon the National Curriculum, our teaching programme goes much further. There is a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy which is enriched with a variety of wider curriculum experiences and opportunities for learning.

The curriculum is delivered using a variety of approaches and teaching methods as appropriate to the subject matter and the needs of the children. Whole class teaching, group teaching and individual teaching are employed.

Learning must be exciting and fun. The environment here is creative and stimulating so that children develop a love of learning that will last them a lifetime. We celebrate hard work and the children are well focussed and keen to achieve. High expectations lead to high standards. Children are treated as special individuals receiving the direction and support they need in order to reach their goals and celebrate their success and strengths.
